Ogio's Hiphop Messenger bag doesn't have a stabilising strap, but despite that it's very well behaved on the bike.
There's a pocket for pretty much everything and they're all marked up so you know which is which.
It's best for occasional bike use but works well as a laptop bag and airline hand-luggage too.
