OMM don't use packs in the same way or for the same things and the features they require vary accordingly. For example, some people use a hydration bladder, some people use bottles. OMM specially creates parts of the pack that can be removed to produce a personally optimised LeanWeight product.
Eventers can also get their scissors out and remove excess features in the hunt to save further grams without invalidating guarantees in other areas of the pack. OMM's quoted LeanWeight is the pack weight less all removable parts but before scissors.
OMM LeanWeight chassis system and technical fabric selections provide strength at minimal weight for lean packs that can be depended on in uncompromising situations.
Wiggle lists a large range of rucksacks, or backpacks as they are often called, these include traditional packs which are ideal for cycle commuters or mountain bikers wanting to carry larger loads. Some rucksacks / backpacks have the facility to fit a hydration bladder, making them a great choice for all day rides. Ideal for both on and off the bike, cross country riding, commuting or riding to the gym, a rucksack / backpack is the ideal choice for carrying items on you.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
Does this mean that I do NOT have to buy the "OMM Leanweight Kit"?
Such is the nature of a lightweight pack.
I purchased the 500mly IGamy bottles and holders that hang off the shoulder straps. These seem to fit poorly as the bottles are top heavy and lean forward with little room for adjustment.
Also note that none of the OMM products I have purchased have come with instructions so it is up to you to figure out how to attache everything.
All of this said, I am determined to get full use out of the pack and am happy with the fit/functionality/weight/quality.
We do not supply hydration systems with the bags as we allow for personal preference. It will take most bladders in the pocket inside the pack.
My wife (size 10) has "donated" her pack to me as it is too long in the back to fit snuggly when running with a load.
She borrowed it back on some long hiking trips we made as when just walking the pack fits fine.
