Orca S3 Wetsuit AW10
We cannot offer a refund/replacement on suits where fingers/toes have damaged the neoprene. To ensure the longevity of the S3 Wetsuit we recommend using latex gloves for ease of pulling up the suit.
Sizing advice: When choosing your Orca wetsuit size, find your weight range first on the chart and then check your height as a guide. It is most important to make sure the size you choose is in your weight range as a few cm’s longer or shorter in the leg or arm is not as important as that the suit fits you right in the body. Orca wetsuits are designed to be fitting outside of the water as the neoprene will expand slightly in the water. However you should never feel like the wetsuit is restricting your breathing and/or stroke.

Top Features of the Orca S3 Wetsuit AW10
The all new Orca S3 builds on the success of the popular benchmark setting, entry level S1 and S2 wetsuits. Those taking their first steps with wetsuit swimming now benefit from features and materials previously only seen in intermediate level wetsuits.
- Excellent levels of buoyancy, flexibility and thermal protection.
- Generous fit and comfort.
- Male
Dipping your toes into the proverbial ocean of open water swimming? The Orca S3 is the first step to speed for those just starting out in triathlon who don't want to commit just yet to all the latest, top of the range kit, but do want a taste of performance, buoyancy and flexibility.
The S3 benefits from full Smoothskin neoprene coverage over the shoulder area, with the new 2mm QuadStretch shoulder panel. Another new addition to Orca's entry level wetsuit is the HydroStroke forearm panel, which uses a silicone print to increase power in the catch phase of the stroke. The Flexiseal neck has also been revised, and is constructed from a new more comfortable neoprene. Constructed from a durable, flexible smoothskin, water-resistant neoprene, the S3 provides excellent buoyancy and thermal protection.
The 5mm HydroLift body panels on the front and back will help with body position in the water, while the 2mm QuadraFlex underarm panel and QuadStretch shoulder panel help provide an excellent range of motion.

About Wetsuits
Modern triathlon wetsuits were invented by Dan Empfield in 1987 and are customized to the needs of triathletes, they generally incorporate the following key features which differentiates them from a normal wetsuit. 1, Thinner and/or more pliable rubber near the shoulders. 2, Long zippers to facilitate quick removal during transition. In addition, tri wetsuits have a very smooth, but often fragile, surface. This slick surface helps to reduce water friction and allows a faster swim. Another advantage of a tri wetsuit is the added buoyancy that the wetsuit provides, this can provide triathletes with a considerable speed and energy saving advantage over swimming without a suit.
About the Orca brand
Whilst working as a swim coach, and from his first hand experience in competing in triathlon, Scott Unsworth realised that the wetsuits used at the time were completely inadequate for swimming. In 1992 Scott started up a company called Performance Speedsuits Ltd, based out of his parent's house in Auckland, New Zealand. He began to develop his "Speedsuits", which featured greater flexibility and buoyancy than other existing wetsuits. The business started with Scott selling his Speedsuits from the back of his car at swim meets and triathlon events. The Speedsuits quickly gained a following amongst athletes and the business started to grow. Scott was taking his first steps towards introducing what would become Orca, to the world. A young New Zealand triathlete named Hamish Carter became one of the first athletes to sign up with the company that is now Orca. Over the next 13 years Hamish Carter went on to become one of the best known triathletes in the world - culminating in a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
