I had my bike stolen, and with it the part that connects the bag to the bike.
I still have the bag, is it possible for me to buy only the part the holds the bag?
Thank you

Yes, it fits B17 if your saddle is not in the most front position. 1cm of rails required.

Answer:
Yes...either with fitted mounting system or if the B17 has bag loops, with the strap conversion mounting kit...check this on the Ortlieb website to see how it works...I think ithis is better as you can squeeze the bag up into the bottom of the saddle if it's empty or to stop other bits rattling around inside the bag

Answer:
The 'plastic fixing' is what you put on the seat rails and then you slide the bag into it. It is very secure, I carry lots of items in this bag and have never had any problems. It is still carried fairly close to the under seat, wouldn't say it lowers it much.

Hi,
I think the fitting you are referring to is to attach lights to rather than used for fitting to the seat

The second plastic fixing at the rear of the bag is a belt clip style fixing. You can use this to attach a LED light or other device of your choice.

Answer:
managed to fit a cateye rear light, through fitting beneath reflective panel. You need to really tighten the seatpost bracket as far as it will go, whilst constantly rotating upwards through the fitting on bag. not ideal, but it works and hasn't loosened or fallen off.

Answer:
There is no light fitting on this bag. A light with a very large/chunky clip may fit, but no guarantee and it may not be very secure. I attached a light to my seat-stay instead.

Answer:
I use Cateye lights but any light will fit. I have used a small piece of overflow pipe to create a more secure fixing for the light. Cycle lights are designed to fit on seat posts or bars etc. Using a piece of plastic pipe creates the bar which helps to fasten to the bag and get the correct angle for the light.
A 3/4" overflow plastic coupler will do the trick. Any hardware store or plumbers merchants etc will stock them.

Yes. And another two tyres and half a dozen tubes and ...etc etc. Its big. I carry a tyre, two tubes, ounture repair kit, a multi tool, food for a day and a light rain coat. And still have space left over for my gillet and other associated bits and pieces.

There'd be enough space if you can jam the tyre around everything else, but not sure if it's still in it's box, and the tubes are in their boxes.

Answer:
A folding road tyre and all the rest...probably if it's a 700 x 23 sized tyre...though I don't know many people that carry a tyre as a spare...just keep an eye on tyre wear and replace them before you get too many punctures or a blow out as I recently saw! The large bag easily carries my multi-tool, spare tube, mini pump and a raincoat...so there's lots of space in there!

Answer:
Mine was a little stiff to slide on and off the bike but a squirt of WD40 has cured this. If you can't get the bag to release, you may have put the bracket on the bike the wrong way round and this is very hard to get off. I tried mine before putting it on the bike and did the same. I ended up undoing the the screws from inside the bag and removing the bag off the sliding plate to free it from the bracket.

Answer:
Check you've not fitted it too close to the seat post, which will cause you to put strain on the clip - the fitting can be adjusted by moving the fitting clamp housing by undoing and then refastening a screw - it is explained in the instructions.
