Great Little bag I bought this micro bag on the strength of my Ortlieb full sized bag I bought about 5years ago, which has proved faultless if a little bulky. This Micro bag works on similar lines to it's big brother, in that there are no clips or fasteners, it's all held nice and water tight by rolling up of the bag which is then secured with elastic "bungey" style straps. It's big enough to hold a tube and a puncture repair kit, not much more. Fitting to the saddle is via a bracket that allows the bag to be unclipped when you need to use it, which frankly is great. I have worked my way through numerous manufacturers bags, most of which fell apart usually just after the warranty ran out. This Ortlieb bag is very good indeed, I am hoping it will have the same kind of lifespan as it's big brother. 14 February 2013

Perfect saddle bag I got this to carry the essential bits you need when going out for a sunday ride. The quality of the bag is really high - the material is really strong and waterproof. The mount and quick release works well for me - there is a definite click to say it's in. In terms of size, this is what I managed to pack in it: iphone bunch if keys tyre leavers penknife multi-tool patch kit This did require a little bit of organising, but it all went in and closed without problems. I love it and got a second mounting kit for my MTB. 24 January 2013

Can you attach a rear light to this? I wondered if using a light with a spring clip you can

I wondered if using a light with a spring clip (such as a SMART) you can clip on over the rolled fabric. Can't believe they wouldn't have thought about this! After all I suspect a simple loop where the reflector is should have been ideal.

Answer:

Micro Bag has no loop for a light as this would provide a weak point for water ingress. You can clip a Blackburn Flea over the rolled up material but I would go for a more secure mount of frame or seat post.

Nope, firstly its not going to attach with any sort of security and second of all its gonna be a pain to remove every time you need to open it.

No, I don't think you can. A rear light would have to sit below it fixed to the seat post. The seat pack sits higher than most though, so there should be room.
