Said of the 2007 model...Remove the price tag and you'd be convinced you're looking at a bike with a price far nearer that of £2000.After a fair amount of riding the Cayo, we've struggled to find anything really wrong with. Don't let the price tag convince you this is a bike aimed at beginners, while it's perfect for those new to road riding, those with a few more miles under their bums should take a serious look at the Cayo.Read the full review of the 2007 Cayo on Road Cycling UK
A real bargain.
Said of the 2006 model...It's very hard not to recommend the Cayo. It's a good ride, has a near perfect choice of components and thanks to the quality of the frame it's worthy of upgrades at a later date. Despite the specification, this is not actually an £1800 bike. Frankly we have never seen such a well appointed bike at such a low price.
Dec 17th 2005: Voted 2006 best bike under £1000 by Cycling Weekly. Focus Monocoque Carbon Composite Technology frame, Full Shimano Ultegra, R550 wheels and FSA contact points give you an incredibly specced bike for under a £1000! We couldn't find serious fault with the Focus and at £999 it is simply a bargain!
