Even with a minimalist design it protects very well from chilling winds and is a comfortable fit. The grips on the fingertips and gel palm pads are well placed and do not compromise hand movements while changing gear or braking. The velcro strap caters for a wide range of wrist sizes, and the long cuff ensures that an overlap with a jersey can be acheived. Overall, it's pretty hard to fault.
This is a thin, lightweight glove, that certainly delivers on what it promises.
Gore's Vulcano was the most expensive thin glove on test, but whe slipped on, it's easy to see why. It's exceptionally warm, despite the thin softshell fabric. As you'd expect from the name, Windstopper fabric is competely windproof and susprising ly water resisitant, keeping out an hour's downpour. High cuffs are thin enough to fit inside a jersey sleeve, simply adding cosiness.
Unless you ride in multi-hour rainstorms, this is a thin glove for all seasons.
