The Crosslight CSix is handmade in Italy, this is because 'Kinesis International' do not have the demand to make a niche product such as a full carbon 'cross frame, and setting up for production is VERY expensive. So we went to a manufacturer in Italy who could accomodate our needs and produce the frames to our exacting standards in relatively small quantities.
The frame has a monocoque front end bonded to the rear stays. This construction type is way more advanced than more traditional lugged and bonded or 'carbon wrapped' frames and produces a frame that is far more durable and long lasting.
Attention has been paid to all the important points: the frame has ample mud clearance for our European conditions, the headtube and BB are Kevlar reinforced to withstand the rigours of modern 'cross, the 'CrossBox' BB shell is designed for max stiffness and response and the 'tuned carbon wishbone' stays give stability and response where required and yet enough compliance for rider comfort.
