The Cayo Lightweight heads the Cayo range of bikes, take one look at the spec and you will understand why. With outstanding components and a super ’Lightweight’ Standard 3 wheelset this bike is a must for the serious road rider in you.

Some of the world’s best components have been chosen and been added to the Focus Light UD Carbon Frame, which features Focus’s SSPS technology, these are Shimano's latest Dura Ace 10 speed groupset giving you the reassurance that the transmission and shifting is swift, precise and accurate even when under load. The Fi:zik Arione Saddle, which provides the comfort you need when the pace is high and the super ’Lightweight’ Standard 3 wheelset wrapped in Continental’s Competition Tubs, to give you that perfect aerodynamic advantage and more with their amazingly low rotational weight. 3T provide the front end of this machine with their Ergosum bars and ARX Pro A-head stem resulting in a super stiff, comfortable and lightweight bike that handles beautifully and translates all your effort into forward momentum. In all, this bike is built for speed and at the price shown is remarkably good value for money.

Wiggle are proud to announce that Olympic and World Champion Nicole Cooke has signed a deal with Wiggle and Focus Bikes which will see her and her newly created team, Vision1 Racing, riding Focus frames this season. The Vision1 riders will be using Focus Cayo and Focus Izalco frames for training and racing.
Nicole stormed to victory at the Beijing Olympics and has set up the team with the goal of developing the next generation of cyclists ready for London 2012 - and is delighted they’ll be riding Focus frames.
Nicole said: 'I have followed the development of Focus over the last two years and have been impressed with their technology and quality of bikes.'
The Vision1 team includes a mix of young British talents such as Dani King and Katie Curtis together with more experienced riders Helen Wyman and Gabby Day who it is hoped will bring the best out of each other over the coming seasons to realise their full potential.

About Road Bikes - Race

Road racing bikes are available for various purposes, they can be used for road racing, touring, leisure or commuting. Racing bikes are lighter, faster and more responsive than equivalently priced mountain bikes. Road bikes have come a long way in recent years with new technology and materials available. Carbon fibre, aluminium and titanium are all used now as well as the more traditional steel tube sets. They all have their advantages: aluminium offers good performance at a reasonable price, steel offers comfort over performance and is a long term investment, titanium offers ultimate all round performance at a premium price while carbon fibre offers superb comfort and performance at intermediate cost. It is not uncommon for the materials to be mixed to give the benefits of all the materials in one frame - a carbon fibre rear end on an aluminium frame, for example. The technology hasn't stopped at the frame either, wheels have received a lot of attention along with the rest of the components, road racing bikes are becoming featherweight, responsive machines that are a sheer joy to ride over many miles.
