About the Continental brand

Continental was founded in Hanover in 1871, manufacturing started with rubber products, rubberized fabrics and solid tyres for carriages and bicycles. Since then Continental have been constantly developing tyre technology in both the automotive sector and cycle industry. Continental bicycle tyres have been the popular choice for many pro road teams, including Team T-Mobile (Germany), Credit Agricole (France), and Saunier Duval (Spain).
