Trailraker has excellent mud shedding capabilities and grip in wet conditions. ASB helps prevent pinch flats and ZSG is our best all-around compound. From deep gloopy mud to slippery roots and rocks, the TrailRaker's unique ZSG Ultima compound provides stunning levels of grip while the widely spaced central tread pattern clears mud unbelievably fast.
Large side knobs offer predicatable cornering in all conditions and Panaracer's ASB chafer helps to reduce the risk of pinch punctures. For riders in rockier parks of the UK (Lakes, Peak District etc.), the TrailRasker is now also available in a wider 2.1" version for increased comfort and improved puncture resistance.

These tyres are for mountain bikes and intended primarily for off road use, the knobbly patterns provide grip when steering and traction when applying power to the pedals. There is usually a tyre to suit the conditions in which you are riding in so the right choice is important. On dry days a narrow tyre with a smoother central tread can be used, but on a wet day a wider tyre with a deeper knobbly tread pattern is essential or you could be the one in contact with the mud.

If you want maximum winter grip, the Trailraker is your tyre. The combination of tall centre, shoulder and buttressed edged spikes means it drives deep into the soft ground for incredible straight line, off-camber or leant-over traction.
Great foul conditions grip but too slow and doesn't clear mud well enough for racing.
The rubber revelation of the last two winters, the TrailRaker manages to claw and paddle grip out of even the filthiest conditions. Pointy knobs nail traction at all angles, open tread clears fast plus they don't wobble and squirm too on the hard stuff. It even comes in a tubless UST version now too, for maximum ground sucking traction.

Even with its slender profile the Trailraker packs more grip per square inch then most DH tyres. It slices through gloop, glides over wet roots and even finds traction on glistening tarmac. Granted the Trailracker isn't the fastest rolling tyre on test, and while some would argue that its rabid grip takes some of the fun out of riding in the mud.
There is no denying that it will give riders of all abilities new found confidence in wet and slippery conditions.
Tellingly these are the only tyres we know that are specifically designed in Britain for our winter conditions, but until you try them it's hard to convey how good they actually are
The best total traction winter XC tyre available - truly astonishing
On adverse cambers, or climbing the the last shove over a steep lip the tall and widely spaced knobs prove their worth in spades, sticking the tyre to the ground the instant it's needed. Pananracer has put the beef on the tread in the centre of the tyre where it can provide stability on cambers, but it's not so tall or hard that wet rocks become a lottery. In wet sand and loam the grip is excellent and in real clag, the tyre pulls through with tread to spare. It also clears very quickly.
Designed for the UK trails, the TrailRaker does a very good job of taming them.
Tread design has large, sharp-edged pyramid-shaped side knobs that cut and shed mud like a JCB on speed.
