The RADBOT™ 1000 has one directive which is to defend you and your bike from rear collisions. It comes equipped with a precision reflector that conforms to strict EU standards and its blazing red eye contains a 1 watt Japanese LED to stare down vehicles.

This is the same powerful LED used in the brake lights of new cars! By popular demand, the new RADBOT™ features a switch that must be held for 1.5 seconds to turn the light on/off. This prevents the RADBOT™ from being accidentally turned on in your pocket or bag when not in use.
About Rear Lights
Almost all bicycle rear lights use LEDs instead of filament bulbs as they are more reliable and use much less battery power, whilst also offering much higher levels of brightness. Used in flashing mode, they are very good at attracting attention from other road users. It's advisable to use at least two rear bike lights, a common configuration is one flashing and one in constant, this is highly advisable just in case one stops or becomes obscured.
About the PDW brand
We fell in love with cycling long ago. Years of fixing flats at the shop, gritting it out at races, braving icy commutes and eating instant noodles led us to a conclusion: this is all we’ve ever done and all we want to do. Urban riding is where our passion lies because of how accessible it is. It's riding you can do in normal clothes right out your front door. So we began designing products that we as urban riders would want to use. Our goal was to make these products beautiful, simple and useful: Portland Design Works (PDW) was born. We chose Portland as a home for the company because we figured you’d start a surf company near great waves or a wind farm on a vast plain. Likewise, we started our company in Portland because the bike-friendly culture allows tons of folks to get around easily by bike. It’s in this great urban cycling atmosphere that we design and test our products. Portland Design Works echoes the urban cycling culture we find inspiring.
