For 2012 the Pinarello FP1 has evolved into the FP Uno and built using Hydroformed Asymmetric tubing. Complete with Shimano Tiagra groupset, with a compact chainset, this bike is ideal for the rider just starting out in cycling.

The compact chainset, with a wide range of sprockets on the cassette, gives you a large choice of gears for speed and for climbing. Many sportives events incorporate some nasty/steep climbs on the route so having a compact chainset makes life a little bit easier.
The geometry remains the same, but receives an asymmetric design most visible in the seatstays and fork, this asymmetry helps balance the offset power delivery due to the drivetrain being offset to the right. It's most noticeable during hard efforts when sprinting or climbing, but it's always working to keep the bike balanced and the wheels planted.
The steerer tube of the fork now tapers from 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" to create an even stiffer front end for precise handling, especially when the road gets fast and twisty.
You can be assured of getting a perfect fit on the FP Uno as it comes in 9 sizes, rather than the four or five from most other manufactures. The FP Uno is available with four colour options.
