Effective protection for your wheels I bought these so that I could just use a Mini D lock without the need for a cable around my wheels. It's a more expensive option but more convenient and probably more secure. The locks are easy to fit, have unique keys with many different combinations of pin positions, and you can order spare keys from Pinhead. I carry the key with me in case of a puncture but no longer have to carry a cable, and save time every time I lock and unlock my bike! 28 December 2009

Hassle free security Installed easily and quickly and can now park up without the worry of either having to take the cable to use with the D lock, or the potential of 'quick release' meaning losing a wheel. This is a tidy product and a great deterrent. 17 December 2012

Secure and Simple Quick to fit, these Pinhead locks went straight onto a Raleigh Pioneer bike in minutes with no need for cutting. Now the wheels are secure the bike is much quicker to lock-up, using just a D lock and no longer needing additional protection for the wheels. 25 October 2012

Easy to fit on Giant Roam XR2 (no cutting) Couldn't be bothered to secure my wheels each day so purchased these in the hope that they may deter a casual thief. Bit pricey but a good quality product. Definitely better than QR skewers! Pretty good fit for my bike, no need to cut down as suggested in the manual for some bikes. 03 November 2011
