Our VPD back protector outperform the EN 1621-2 standard Level 1 (18kN) reaching the higher Level 2 requirements (9kN). Still many CE approved protection systems have a relatively static impact absorption curve and are constructed to just pass the specific CE-Norm test.

This means that low energy impacts are transferred almost directly to the body. Our VPD back protector does not only exceed the required shock absorbance CE-values, it also releases the energy gradually so the spine will not be exposed to any force peaks.

About Body Armour
