Cycle computers help you make the most of your time on the bike and are a great training tool, they have many functions including speed, distance, maximum speed, average speed and some even feature cadence (pedal revolutions). Excellent service and pricing from Wiggle. This bike computer has served me for about 6 months now and hasnt faulted me. Build quality is decent and the screen is very easy to read. My only gripe is that the there isnt a dedicated light button, you have to press and hold the middle button for 5 secs to activate it for a brief period before it goes off again. Other than that, it's perfect. 06 July 2010

Great device I use this on my road bike with cadence and mountain without. It's a great device for training and ensuring you're working in the right heart rate zone. The back light is a useful feature in the dark. I could benefit from being able to display more stats during use. 06 July 2010

This could be a great product, if it worked all the time. Bought this in January so for the first two months it lived in the dining room on the turbo trainer, at this point it worked fine, although the speed sensor is mounted on the front wheel so never saw any use. oh yes and I had to contact wiggle as it turned up without the cadence sensor. Was perfectly happy to start, and the online polar site is great for storing all your runs. However as soon as I ventured outside it all went wrong, the speed sensor was only registering intermittently, every time you hit a patch of rough tarmac the head unit auto paused. I persevered, tried adusting fork and magnet positions eventually had enough had the speed sensor replaced. Slightly better but still auto pausing regularly. Then I had the whole unit replaced, this was even worse and started giving random readings, stopped at the roadside for two minutes and the odometer added 15miles onto my run in that time. Full refend, bought a Garmin edge 500, now thats well worth the money, will not buy anything from polar again. 30 June 2010

Does the Polar CS 200cad come with Polar WearLink Transmitter chest strap?

What are the main differences between T31 chest strap (that comes with Polar CS100) and Wearlink chest strap (that I suposse comes with Polar CS200cad)?

I have it mounted on the stem of all three bikes I use it on. It can be a bit fiddely if you have short stems like I do but you can turn the mounting bracket by 45deg for stem mounting.

I own a CS200cad and it's powered by a CR2032 battery that you can change by yourself (no need to send it to a service center).

The battery is 2032 I think, same as in most watches. It won't need recharging and can't be recharged. I have two Polar computers and the oldest one, also a CS200, which is maybe three years old got its second battery just before xmas. Polar afters sales service is also very good. No I don't work @ Polar.

polar wearlink+ multi usage

hi, i'm considering getting the polar CS200cad computer and am wondering if the Wearlink+ transmitter will be able to be picked up at the same time by my mobile phone (I'm using Endomondo for android) or would there be any crossover or interference issues with the signals?

I use endomondo simultaneously with the polar cs200 cad. No interference up to now.
But I don't use a bluetooth transmitter.

I am unsure whether this will cause an issue but in theory it should be fine. The monitor gives out a signal which can be picked up by several devices. The devices may interfere with each other but this would be due to an incompatibility between those two devices using the same signal.

Yes, you push the computer unit in it's mounting bracket and twist and it pops out so you can take it with you. A simple push and twist places it back into the bracket when you return.

The CS200CAD has a menu option to switch between 2 bikes, so that your wheel size settings are preserved when you switch between them. There is no synchronise process when you set it up so a new set of sensors on a second bike should work straight out of the box.

just wondering how you mount the sensors and the computer? e.g. cable ties,rubber bands etc.
can you mount it on the stem? if so ,does it come with the mounts?

The mounts come with the computer, and mine came with 2 long and 2 short cable ties for each mount.

I mounted my computer on the handlebars not the stem, but it looks like the bracket would fit, but i didn't ry it.

No it doesn't have a back light, and in low light it is hard to read.

The mounts are fixed with cable ties, mounts and ties are supplied. You can fit the computer to the stem or the handlebar with the supplied mounts. The computer does not have a backlight.
