Delivers what it promises It took only one week to increase my long capacity, but it needed dedication. It takes time to get through 30 breaths. It is rather expensive for what you are getting. 30 January 2013

Training aide Not sure why this item is costly but it does what is says on the tin - to coin an expression. It's easy to use, it's small and neat, easily cleanable and comes with a handy storage pouch. I wish it were slightly cheaper but it does the required job & I would therefore recommend it. 27 April 2012

Answer:

You would probably be fine with the Low resistance but could use a Medium aswell. It depends on if you take part in events or not as the Medium is designed for training, the Low is designed for everyday sport use.

Would you recommend this?

I'm playing on a national level women's rugby team, but suffer from sports induced asthma. I need a training aid which can help me with that and my fittness. What training aid would you recommend?

Yeah I play national level rugby too and we all use these and everyone has noticed a marked improvement with consistent use.

I would recommend speaking to your doctor first, if you get the all clear you should probably start with the low or Medium resistance model and work up, it depends on your current fitness level. If you are already really fit you could likely start on medium.
