Stem in the right direction. Right well. its a handle bar stem. Brought because the one that came on my bike was too short. So opted for a longer one. It looks nice and feels light. 02 October 2012

Piece of tubing with a clamp on each end I've never completely understood why people get so excited, or spend so much money, on stems. It's a short piece of tubing with a clamp on each end. I suppose they can be lighter or heavier, and may be stiffer or springier, but you can probably make more difference to both tthe feel and the weight of your bike by changing the tyres. So, this seems well made, is reasonably priced, doesn't weigh very much, fits as it should, has nice stainless bolts (which, going by the shorter one I'm replacing, will not rust) and is graphically attractive. There's really nothing much else to say! 21 June 2012

Very nice Stem Although I'm a Campagnolo fan, I'll give credit where it's due & shimano make a lovely stem. I was a bit unsure about the small 2 x face plates but it holds the handlebar firmly. Definitely made for carbon steerer's in mind. Looks good too, one of the few manufactures to provide 80 degree angle. 18 May 2012
