The frame is constructed from Torayca 40HT 12K carbon fibre and features a BB30 bottom bracket, a tapered fork and headtube and internal cable routing throughout. The seatstays are narrowed for lightness and comfort while the downtube and chainstays are oversized to assist in power transfer and increase lateral rigidity. There is a replaceable forged aluminium mech hanger, twin bottle cage mounts and a full carbon tapered steerer fork too.

The Deamon follows the latest technical trends on the market. The frame is suited for both classic mechanical and Shimano Di2 cable systems. If you choose a Di2 groupset, the battery can be assembled under the down tube for a clean look.

The cable routing for this frame was studied extensively. The rear brake cable now enters the top tube on the right side of the head tube, and exits on the left side. This significantly reduces the risk of rattling. The cable for the rear derailleur runs the entire length inside the down tube and seat stay. This simply looks better, but also protects the cable and enables quicker shifting.

The wheels are provided by Shimano and are the good quality RS00 model meaning you don't sacrifice weight and therefore speed where it matters most and you can expect good reliability and consistent braking performance too.

The finishing kit comes mainly from Prorace which helps keep costs low while being quite serviceable kit in it's own right too.
