About Chainrings
Chainrings are fitted to the crank arms and come in single, double or triple configuration. Most geared bikes use a 3/32 inch width, whereas 1/8 inch is the popular choice for track bikes and some single speeds due to its increased strength which is needed when riding a fixed wheel. Chainrings are available in a number of formats, these are known as PCD's (Pitch Circle Diameter) or BCD's (Bolt Circle Diameter), this is the spacing of the bolts that secure the rings to the crank arms. Common sizes are 74mm inner ring Shimano MTB, 110mm middle and outer for Shimano MTB, 110mm for most compact chainsets to allow for the smaller ring combo's, 130mm for Standard Shimano Road and 135mm for Standard Campagnolo road chainsets.

Bolt: Thread = 7mm, Head = 11.5mm
Sleeve: Head = 11mm, thread outer = 9.5mm

So two sets altogether but be careful as the two sets will be different to one another.
For middle and outer chainrings you will order both inner and outer bolt to screw together but for inner chainring you will order only inner bolt as it fits through the small chainring and screws into a threaded receiver on the crank itself.
Also, Raceface use 5 bolts per set whereas Shimano use only 4 bolts per set, so order appropriately.

I have an FSA SLK Compact Double on my road bike, two of the exisitng bolts crumbled up on tightening - cheap alu! I need a set of 5 replacements, will these work fine?
Or can you suggest any others for about £5.
