Riders, cyclists, bikers, couriers, rowers, walkers and runners know all about it: when it rains - and it often rains in Britain - then your trousers get wet. After a while your trousers stick to your legs reducing your enjoyment of the outdoor activity to a bare minimum.
Originally from the Netherlands, a country with even more rain - and more cyclists! - we can now introduce the RAINLEGS in Britain. The Rainlegs are fitted in seconds around the waist and cover the upper legs and knees and make sure that your legs stay dry. When not in use the Rainlegs are worn in a compact bundle around the waist.
The RAINLEGS are made from lightweight (140 grams) 100% water- and wind resistant material (Ripstop) and are connected with quick fasteners and Velcro. Any seams are reinforced from the inside. 3M reflectors offer additional protection during bad light conditions.
About Waterproof Cycling Trousers
Waterproof cycling trousers offer wet weather protection for your legs. They are usually made from a durable material and feature a re-inforced seat area. Waterproof cycle trousers are cut for use on the bike and to offer freedom of movement with articulated knees. It's important to wear a breathable under garment underneath waterproof trousers, this allows your skin to breath and helps minimise moisture build up inside the trousers, if you don't you could get wet from the inside.
About the Rainlegs brand
Rainlegs are the makers of the truly innovative rainwear product known by the same name. Rainlegs protect the upper legs against rain, wind and the cold. The product has been manufactured from wind and water resistant parachute material and weighs only 140 grams. Many participants in outdoor sporting events like runners, rowers, skaters, riders and Nordic walkers have expressed their satisfaction with this great product.

In conclusion...
The idea is to keep the rain off your lap and upper legs -which tend to get the most wet - without overheating you like full overtrousers. And they work.
