Fitting couldn't be easier and the instructions are easy to understand.
Good value computer and HRM in one unit.
The classic and dependable VDO HC12.6 is a fantastic unit. We were given one to test four years ago and it's still going strong despite damage and even a crack across the screen. Aside from colour, the mounting strap, the box and better instructions, little has changed since we first tested one, and that's just fine by us. It combines everything you could want from a good, basic computer with everything you could want from a good basic heart rate monitor, all wrapped up in a superbly made unit that's tough, dependable and has a very long battery life. The option of a cadence upgrade would be nice, considering the price is not a big issue. If you want a computer that tells you a lot of info at a glance, is easy to read, easy to set up, has a five year warranty, and will be dependable, go for this.
Covers all the bases; nothing wrong, everything right.
Take one function-loaded and very accurate cycle computer, and add a heart rate monitor. Then add to the mix a very attractive price, sturdy build, and amazing ease of setup and use and you get...A stunning product.
Fantastic. Easy to set up, use, and read. Accurate in all aspects, great battery life, quality construction all at an amazing price
VDO's HC12.6 is a very useful cycle computer and heart rate monitor...the wired system is easy to install and the instructions are reasonably simple to follow...all the infrormation is displayed on one computer screen so there's no need to keep checking your wrist or to have two mountings on your bar...
Although the features are a little basic for serious pro riders, the HC 12.6 has everything most people need for good training, and at under £50 it's good value too.
