A great looking eyewear set-up - they're as good as it gets in the budget sector
These are a budget pair of shades whose real appeal lies in the choice of lenses they come with at such a low cost. The clear and dark lenses are, as you'd expect, perfect for night and day conditions, but the revelation here is the third blue lens. This adds a very attractive blue tint across a wide variety of light conditions, which, according to the manufacturer's claims "enhances shadow definition". I didn't ride around staring into shadows to test this claim but i certainly did notice that i was choosing this as my default lens on pretty much every ride.Changing the lenses is easy as the frame and integrated nose section is slightly flexible, which also adds to the comfort when they sit on your face. The lenses are big enough to prevent light filtering in around the edges and the arms grip securely enough not to allow unwanted changes in their position. A sturdy carrying case with soft inners to protect each lens is part of a highly competitive deal at this price.
If you want something practical on a budget, the dhb's are an excellent alternative to higher profile bands.
I have been using these glasses for a while now and think they are brilliant. The combination of value and performance is just right. I've lost a couple of pairs out on the trails and have had no worries about replacing them due to the price. I use all three lens's depending on what time of the day I am out and about and also the weather conditions at the time, they protect my eyes in all situations. I've done the expensive shades thing and, ok you might think you look a bit cooler, but I'd rather spend the money I save on shiny bits for the bike!

This Italian brand of kit is known for quality at a reasonable price and, as it's now available in the UK exclusively through wiggle, we the consumer, get to benefit even more thanks to wiggle's virtually unbeatable prices.Taking these glasses out of the fancy presentation pack, you instantly feel the quality difference compared to their more expensive counterparts. But just look at what you do get for your money: funky, white wrap-around frames; three easily interchangeable, scratch and impact resistant lenses for different light conditions; co-ordinated nose rubbers; a semi-rigid mesh carry case with lens cloth; and all dhb products carry a lifetime warranty. At this price, who could argue?

The new dhb ladies sunglasses have great wrap around styling with three different lenses for a multitude of light conditions. It features UV400 polycarbonate lenses which will protect you from both UVA and UVB rays. Interchangeable lenses are useful to protect your eyes in all conditions.I have been testing the dhb sunnies, and I actually prefer them to my much more expensive old favourites at the moment. They do only come in white, but it looks great. They do provide all the critical components of protecting the eyes and matching. The visual clarity from all of the lenses is great. They don't sport the anti-fog or even anti scratch/shatterproof that high end sunnies do, however the design is such that only the extremely coldest days, do they fog when stopping at the lights, or at the end of an effort.Read the full review on SheCycles

Another pair of glasses that come with multiple lens options in this case clear, orange and dark mirrored as well as three different frame colour options. The single piece frame offers great peripheral vision, the adjustable nose piece and rubber arms provide a good balance of support and comfort, and their styling proved more popular dare we say 'modern' then the similarly priced and specced Madison D'Arcs. They also have exactly the same frame as the Bloc Leopards.

This is the best value eye protection we have used, giving you three interchangeable lenses to make the best of most conditions. There's a clear lens for low flat light, a smoke lens for bright weather and an orange lens to cut down glare when light is variable.Unlike some budget glasses these are nicely designed and have the sort of looks which allow you to ease the pressure on your credit crunched wallet without looking like a cheapskate. The lightweight frames might not feel as solid as some of the more expensive glasses here but they do the job more than adequately. Price includes a soft bag and case to keep them safe.

There is more than one way to ensure that you've got the correct lens for any given occasion: you can buy glasses that come with a choice of lenses, or you can get photochromatic lenses which change colour chemically as the amount of UV light increases.These initially clear lenses start to darken after just a few seconds' exposure to UV light, the full process taking a few minutes. It's quick enough that if you're cycling from strong light to shade you never need to remove your shades.We put this pair to the test during a Grand Fondo that started out under heavy clouds before the Italian sun broke through. Well designed, well made and just about faultless
Barloworld and Rabobank riders in last year's Tour all tended to wear the Sportmask, and considering they have a choice from the whole Rudy range that alone might tell us something about how well these work. The lenses offer such wide coverage that it's hard to see any lens or frame edge when riding and they feel super lightweight to wear. The Sportmask also has an adjustable nose bridge and a vented brow interface that works a treat. The arms are low and slim enough to fit with every modern helmet design we tried.
