Top Features of the Respro Waterproof Hump Rucksack Cover
It's simple, it's effective, it's versatile and it's waterproof: a waterproof cover for your rucsac or pannier in bright and reflective materials which is highly visible from the side and the rear.
- Fully waterproof
- Rucsac or Pannier bag cover, 40 litres
- Elasticated edge and press stud fasteners
- Day-Glo orange and yellow mesh
- 3M Scotchlite strips and detailing
- Mesh pocket and carry pouch
Elasticated edging and press stud fasteners ensure that the Hump fits snugly over your rucsac or pannier bag and will not flap around.
Day-Glo yellow and orange waterproof material with chevron pattern is bright and very noticeable by day, and the reflective tape material is clearly visible by night.
There is a small mesh pocket on the outside, and the Hump can be folded into this pocket for storage when not in use.
Can also be used to cover bike pannier bags for increased visibility.
Not for the shy and retiring type of rider!
About Reflectives
Reflective cycling gear helps other road users see you when visibility is poor. It's particularly effective if worn at eye level on your body such as around your waist or chest. Ankle bands are also very effective, as they move up and down with the pedal stroke and draw attention, as are fluttering tags on bags etc. The best thing about reflective gear is that it's always on and doesn't need batteries.
About the Respro brand
Respro product designer Harry Cole had "in your face" experience of exhaust fumes and city smog as a London cycle courier and this is still a significant and growing problem. In 1990, Respro launched the City mask, the first cyclists pollution mask and it is still in demand today. Over the last decade, awareness of air pollution has grown and now cyclists can choose from a wider range of styles and filters to accomodate more individual needs. Respro masks are supplied with replaceable filters and exhalation valves to keep the inside of the mask well ventilated.

Magazine reviews for Respro Waterproof Hump Rucksack Cover
Review from Cycling Plus
The hump is a waterproof Hi-Viz cover designed for use with rucksacks with capacities up to 40 litres. One size is pretty much universal - even on smaller bags (although not on the older smaller hydration packs), the elstic ensures a secure fit, eliminiating ifuriating flapping even in blustery conditions. And fitting couldn't be simpler: roll the hump over the bag, secure the elastic straps in a cross formation and pop the press-studs together.
Competent at both tasks the hump is a sensible upgrade for most bags and protects them from road grime and spray. Its yellow burns the eyeballs nicely, even in low light, and the big sections od Scotchlite shout your prescence to other road users after dark.
Packing down small enough to fit in a jersey pocket, it makes an excellent companion, not only in the depths of winter but late spring evenings when lights get forgotten and an untimely puncture can see you out later than planned.
In conclusion...
Simple and effective
