The Fenix 105 Special Edition bike features an upgrade from the standard Ridley Fenix. Instead of their 4ZA alloy wheelset being supplied, this edition comes fitted with a pair of Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. Fulcrum wheels are renowned for their durability and performance. A tough set of wheels that will perform very well and give great rider comfort with their excellent rolling performance and durability.
Frame and Fork Features:
The oversized sharp edge tubing guarantees a high level of stiffness and is extremely strong in all areas. The specially developed flex areas in the seat stays absorb vibrations from the road to give the rider the right amount of comfort. This is a true all-rounder of a bike that is ideal for a first time purchase.
The forks are carbon and manufactured from 24 ton carbon and painted to match the from style precisely.
Drivetrain and Gearing:
The Fenix 105 Special Edition comes kitted out with Shimano's 105 10 speed drivetrain components, excluding the chainset and brake calipers. The shifting is good - precise and accurate and works well with the FSA Gossamer chainset, which is a compact. This means you have a lower (easier) range of gears to chose from especially when the road turns skywards or when you are riding on an undulating course or hilly sportive event.
Wheels and Braking:
As mentioned above, the Fenix 105 SE features a Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. Usually this bike comes fitted with Ridley's 4ZA alloy clincher wheelset, but we wanted the Fenix to be special. With this in mind we upgrade the Fenix to have a pair of Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels fitted. A big improvement in our eyes, which we are sure you will notice, when on the bike. The Fulcrum Racing series of wheels are extremely reliable and very well adapted to the UK roads and will provide you with hours of hassle-free use.
These wheels comes encased with a pair of Continental Ultra Sport 700x23c tyres and provide great grip and excellent rolling resistance. Braking is taken care of by Ridley's 4ZA brake calipers and provides good progressive braking.
Finally, completing the look of the Fenix as regards the handlebars, stem and seat post, is 4ZA, which are all built inhouse by Ridley. This helps to keep the price down, but still provides you with good quality components matching other key cycling brands such as FSA for example.
A great looking bike that is reasonably priced for the kit featured and ideal if venturing into cycling for the first time and not wanting to spend a fortune doing so. Each Fenix is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition. To find out which size fits you use the size chart below.

About the Ridley brand
Flanders, the Flemish region of Belgium is infamous for serving up the harshest cycling conditions where driving rain, cobbled non-category climbs, snow and ice are the norm for its 6,000 racing clubs. This place, the pounding heart of a passionate cycling nation where the most revered Spring Classics unfold, is the cold steel anvil where flesh and bone are forged into the greatest racers of all time. This is Belgium, home to Ridley Bikes, and it is here where our products are engineered, hammered into raw form by the roads themselves, and where we refine them in competition. This is Ridley. We are Belgium.
The size chart below will get you on the right size bike. Experienced riders may also wish to refer to the geometry chart for more detail.
Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.

Need help on sizing.
I'm 6ft 2.5/3
Inside leg 34inches.
What size would you recommend?
I'm 5'9" with a 30" inside leg. My current bike is a Genesis CdF size 56' frame, I feel this is a little too big for me. What size would you recommend for the Ridley Fenix 7005 please?
