About Cyclocross Bikes
Cyclocross bikes are similar to road bike, they are lightweight, with narrow tyres and drop handlebars. However, they also share characteristics with mountain bicycles in that they utilize knobby treaded tyres for traction, and cantilever style brakes for the clearance needed due to muddy conditions. They have to be lightweight because competitors need to carry their bicycle to overcome barriers or slopes too steep to climb in the saddle. The sight of competitors struggling up a muddy slope with bicycles on their shoulders is the classic image of the sport, although un-ridable sections are generally a very small fraction of the race distance. Cross bikes also make good winter bikes or commuters, their frames have plenty of clearance which allows for mudguards, while the upright angles make them agile around town, meaning you can hit the trails at the weekend and then fit some road tyres and commute on them during the week.
About the Ridley brand
Flanders, the Flemish region of Belgium is infamous for serving up the harshest cycling conditions where driving rain, cobbled non-category climbs, snow and ice are the norm for its 6,000 racing clubs. This place, the pounding heart of a passionate cycling nation where the most revered Spring Classics unfold, is the cold steel anvil where flesh and bone are forged into the greatest racers of all time. This is Belgium, home to Ridley Bikes, and it is here where our products are engineered, hammered into raw form by the roads themselves, and where we refine them in competition. This is Ridley. We are Belgium.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I am looking for a bike for myself. I want cyclocross bike, but I don't know what size should I go for...
My height is 178cm and inside leg 82-83cm.
Could tell me which size of bike I would need from Ridle Cyclocross, or I would be also interested with Focus Mares Ax 1.0
When I looked into size guide it looks like I would need completely different size from Focus and different from Ridley. Would you help me with that?
Also If I order a bike, and it won't fit me, how that would be soerted out?
