Mission Control DH Compression Damping: Setting the compression damping for the course you’re riding is crucial, the correct balance of small bump and big hit absorption will give you a new level of traction, stability and control so you can stick your line and carry your speed. Rockshox took the plush and bombproof design of Mission Control and traded out the threshold for a high-flow compression piston to optimize descent-oriented bump performance. High and low speed compression and Dual Flow rebound controls are right at your fingertips, because when you’re riding downhill, every second matters.
Dual Flow Adjust Rebound Damping Rockshox Dual Flow Adjust has the effectiveness of Dual Flow independent damping circuits with the added control of externally adjustable beginning and ending-stroke rebound. Tuning suspension to actively respond to successive small bumps as perfectly as it absorbs big drops has never been easier.
Solo Air Spring: An extremely durable spring system. The positive and negative air spring chambers are simultaneously filled to equal air pressures through a single Schrader valve, simplifying suspension setup while retaining the light weight and plush ride quality of the Rockshox Dual Air system.
Maxle Lite DH 20mm Thru Axle Designed for downhill racers, this allen-key version of the Maxle Lite is light, ultra stiff and has loads of clearance. Maxle lite gives you bomb proof strength for the hardest hits and landings with a quick and convenient release system when you need to take out your wheel.
RockShox was one of the first producers of bicycle suspension forks and have now become the world leader in the design and manufacturing of high performance suspension products for the bicycle industry. In 1989 RockShox Inc. was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons. Rock Shox launched with 10 front suspension forks and three rear shocks, with the brand names such as Boxxer, Deluxe, Indy, Jett, Judy, Mag, Quadra, Ruby and SID. RockShox’s founder Paul Turner, raced motorcycles in his teen years during the 1970s and went on to found an aftermarket engine parts company in 1977 at the age of 18. Turner then went to work for Honda Motor Company, as their factory motocross team mechanic, an opportunity which provided Turner with experience working with the top racers in the field, as well as suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders. In Febuary 2002, RockShox was acquired by industry leader SRAM who hope to take the brand onto another level.
