typically for RockShox the Tora's take a while for the fork to relax after a shy start, but after a few rides, you'll notice the bumps have gone...overall the Motion Control damping is very controlled and consistent. This 318 version gets a wide range rebound adjust and a fork top compression lever with preset floodgate threshold for locking out on climbs. Steel legs, coil springs and fixed V-brake studs means it's no lightweight racer but it's reasonably stiff and well priced if you;re after an adjustable fork.
In conclusion...
Not light, but a great travel adjustable trail fork for the money
