3D LINK
The idea behind the 3DLink™ suspension technology is simple: triangles. Triangles have the best strength to weight ratio of any geometric shape. The 3DLink™ suspension system is a triangular geometry ideally suited for aggressive cross-country racing. Since the 3DLink™ design does not rely on the shock as a structural member of the frame, it is incredibly stiff laterally, creating a bike that tracks straight, loses nothing to flex, and is as efficient as a hardtail on singletrack.
The 3DLink™ rear suspension design, coupled with a custom-valved Fox shock results in a fully active suspension system, and an optimal XC suspension rate which directs all of the rider's energy into the drivetrain for unparalleled power transfer and acceleration. Optimized pedaling efficiency and no suspension "bob" result in more power and traction to the rear wheel.

About Full Suspension MTB Frames
Full suspension mountain bikes are the pinnacle of off-road cycling design. They are much more comfortable than a hard-tail and faster over rough terrain. Even long-travel versions are now efficient enough to be ridden up hill as well as down. A well-designed cross country full-suspension bike will give you ultimate traction on the uphills, comfort on the flats and speed on the downhill sections. It'll also put a smile on your face.
About the Rocky Mountain brand
Rocky Mountain build bikes for people who love to ride: "It's the core of what we do. We know that there are a million different types of riders out there. People who love long, epic rides; people who love sessioning the jump park; people who love cross-country racing, and those who just love it all. As a bike company, we've made it our mission to create a high-grade quiver of bikes that meets the needs of the myriad of off-road cyclists out there. To do this we pay particular attention to innovation, quality, and detail. Even though we're bigger than we were when we started 21 years ago, we still employ the same practices, the same hands on approach we did then. We are a semi-custom bike manufacturer. We're not huge and were not trying to be. We're not pumping out hundreds of thousands of bikes a year. It's because of this we can take our time to ensure that every Rocky Mountain is the best it can be. So, if you want a quality ride from the tubing right through to the wheels, this is where you belong. Bikes built for riders, by riders, in a place where the riding rules."
