This bike is much more than and "entry level" bike, the R838 is elegant and built with top quality cycling brands; Campagnolo (Veloce 10 speed), Fulcrum (Racing 7 wheelset), FSA components, and Vittoria tyres.
The monocoque structure of the R838, with its attractive lines, combines perfectly with the technical requirements necessary to participate in modern cycling, even for those approaching the sport and the world of DeRosa for the first time.
The compact chainset, with a wide range of sprockets on the cassette, gives you a large choice of gears for speed and for climbing. Many sportives events incorporate some nasty/steep climbs on the route so having a compact chainset makes life a little bit easier.
A frame that responds to the need for the maximum manoeuvrability, reliabilty and lightness. Its greatest advantage is the excellent relationship between quality and performance, making the R838 unbeatable and allowing athletes to make a spectacular entrance to the world of the De Rosa.
