The compact chainset, with a wide range of sprockets on the cassette, gives you a large choice of gears for speed and for climbing. Many sportives events incorporate some nasty/steep climbs on the route so having a compact chainset makes life a little bit easier.
The new 31.6mm seat tube and the new internal rear brake cable routing are the immediately evident changes, but there is much more... the Assolute RC is the first Dedacciai frame that is specifically designed to be compatible with the new generation of electronic groupsets.
Thanks to the 2 Times Comfort concept, the design of the rear triangle in conjunction with the carbon dropouts, allows a fluid pedalling position in every situation, guaranteeing flawless performance.
