The Dedacciai Strada Titanium K19 frame utilises Ti3AL.2.5V Titanium for the front part of the frame and the titanium "GRADO 2" for the rear part of the frame.
The characteristics of the two alloys, used together, creates less strain under braking at the front part of the frame (where it is important to maximise its rigidity). The frame features advanced sloping geometry and a compact rear triangle with oversized dropouts.
Also, the frame features a mega oversized cone-shaped steerer tube that is 1/1-8" at the top and 1/1/2" at the fork. All of these features help towards a greater overall stiffness and a reduction in weight.

Road frames have come a long way in recent years with new advancements in technology and materials. They all have their own advantages: aluminium offers good performance at a reasonable price, titanium offers ultimate performance at a premium price while carbon fibre offers superb comfort and performance at intermediate cost. It is not uncommon for the materials to be mixed to give the benefits of all the materials in one frame - a carbon fibre rear end on an aluminium frame, for example.
