Sidi Genius 5 Pro Mega Road Shoes
Sidi Mega shoes are properly shaped and proportioned for riders with high arches, wide or high-volume feet. The Genius 5 Pro Mega features the Millenium 3 Sole and a Lorica upper.
Lorica: Lorica is a Hi-Tech leather made from the most sophisticated technology. Lorica is a combination of the finest micro-fibres ever produced. It is water-repellent, permeable to water vapour and resistant to tearing, splitting, scratching and atmospheric agents. It has a good air-breathing capacity. Lorica offers exceptional performances and guarantees to the user extraordinary softness and elegance.
Soft Instep Closure System: The wide, anatomical and padded strap has been reduced and coupled to soft, thermoformed material increasing comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides for perfect centering. The system elimates the need for the High Instep Extender. Used with SL and Caliper buckle straps, which are serviceable and replaceable.
Caliper Buckle: The micrometric closure called Caliper buckle is regulated by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both sides buckles, while to slightly loosen the closure during the race the central clip must be pushed down.
High Security Velcro: The high security straps with integrated locking polymer teeth engage onto each other when the strap is closed. This feature makes the closure more secure.
Sidi Heel: The reinforced heel keeps the foot in position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.

The Millennium 3 Sole is constructed out of a nylon matrix injected with carbon-fibre for added strength. The sole is designed to survive prolonged usage and changes in temperature. The heel-pad is made of non-slip polyurethane and held in place by a couple of rivets and a screw. The heel-cup is replaceable. |

The Millennium 3 Sole is compatible with the best road-pedals on the market. To help cleat replacement the Look Memory Eyelet and an alignment scale is molded into the sole. Two-hole adapter kits are also available. Compatible with Speedplay pedals (using shim provided with pedals) and the Look Keo memory cleat system. |
