The velodrome is a unique environment for cycling. The racers require specific features from their wheels and the track surface itself differs from the open road. We've taken it all into account with the 404 track tubular wheelset.
The wheels are built on our 360 Track rims with an extra-stiff carbon laminate designed to respond instantly to the sharpest acceleration while absorbing the track's high-frequency low-amplitude vibrations. Add 28 front/rear spokes with a 2-Cross rear lacing pattern and our massively stiff track hubset, and the 404 Track Tubular wheelset is ready for all the sprint you've got.
All 2009 Zipp wheels (Excludes Disc Wheels) come with Steel Skewers & valve extensions.
