These lightweight plastic bottles, designed by the proprietor of RUNAID, Peter Elsden, the idea for which was conceived whilst Peter was training for his first marathon, the 2nd London Marathon in 1982, (which he completed in 4hrs 10mns), are specially shaped so that they can be comfortably carried, on training runs and in races, with the minimum of grip and consequential arm stiffness.
They are used by tens of thousands of runners around the world to carry water or their favourite sports drink in order to combat the effects of dehydration.
