Offering a dynamic and cushioned ride, the Salomon X-Scream trainer is an agile CITYTRAIL™ shoe that injects mountain spirit into running in an urban landscape.
|Shoe Weight:||290g (UK 8.5)|
The CITYTRAIL™ training shoe that enables you to escape the confines of the same old running routes. With a stable cushioning platform and multi-terrain grip, the X-WIND PRO adapts to your foot and the urban terrain you chose to explore.
Contagrip® is a mix between density, Compound and geometry to optimize grip
and durability for each surface or activity. A race proven technology.
Sensifit™ cradles the foot from the midsole to the lace system, providing a stable, precise, snug fit all around the system. Moulded into the shoe, reducing weight and brings more comfort.
Quicklace™ is a single Kevlar® string fed through friction-free eyelets. As you pull, the lace closes evenly. Lock in place with the stopper and stow Everything in the lace pocket. Fast, light, comfortable and won´t loosen while you run.
To determine the correct type of running shoe for your feet, use the tried and tested "wet foot test". Dip your foot into water and then stand on a surface that will show your footprint - a towel or piece of paper or cardboard. The shape of your wet footprint indicates the amount of stability you might need in your shoe. If your footprint looks like the one on the right (with a very narrow band or no band at all between the forefoot and the heel) then you should choose shoes from the cushion category on this page Cushioned shoes generally have the softest midsoles and the least added stability. They're built on a semicurved or curved last to encourage foot motion, which is helpful for runners who have rigid, immobile feet (underpronators). You should buy these if you're an efficient runner whose feet don't roll inwards excessively (overpronate) when you run.
Salomon was born in the French Alps in 1947. Their passion for mountain sport progression, product development, quality and craftsmanship drives them to create progressive gear to enable freedom and help you challenge yourself in the mountains.
