The Triumph 8 is the latest incarnation of Saucony's top-of-the-range cushioning shoe. The full-length ProGrid cushioning give an amazing luxurious feel and the transition from heel-to-toe is fantastically smooth. The Triumph offers even the heaviest runner maximum protection from the continuous impact of road running and will put a spring in your step no matter how many miles you are logging. Exclusively available in ViZi-PRO for the first month of its release, you'll not only get great feel from these shoes, you'll get great safety too. With our exclusive ViZi-PRO colourway (the only colour to be safety-approved by the US Standard Agency) and reflective fabrics around the heel and forefoot of the shoe, every step will be a highlight!
The Triumph 8 has been upgraded from the Triumph 7 in a number of areas. By adding more blown rubber to the forefoot, the shoe is more flexible, has a softer, plusher, more cushioned toe-off AND is 10% lighter. The heel has been reconfigured to give a smoother, more cushioned impact and there's more SRC around the heel to give even greater protection from the road surface. Simply, it's even more luxurious!

About Cushion Running Shoes
To determine the correct type of running shoe for your feet, use the tried and tested "wet foot test". Dip your foot into water and then stand on a surface that will show your footprint - a towel or piece of paper or cardboard. The shape of your wet footprint indicates the amount of stability you might need in your shoe. 
If your footprint looks like the one on the right (with a very narrow band or no band at all between the forefoot and the heel) then you should choose shoes from the cushion category on this page Cushioned shoes generally have the softest midsoles and the least added stability. They're built on a semicurved or curved last to encourage foot motion, which is helpful for runners who have rigid, immobile feet (underpronators). You should buy these if you're an efficient runner whose feet don't roll inwards excessively (overpronate) when you run.
