About SiS GO Energy
SiS GO Energy provides an easily digestible and quick supply of carbohydrate for energy. SiS GO Energy is designed to be versatile so it can be mixed at various concentrations that are suited to your needs. As such, SiS GO Energy can be consumed as part of your carbohydrate loading strategy in the days and hours prior to your training or race whereby 48 grams of carbohydrate are delivered per serving. Alternatively, SiS GO Energy can be consumed during exercise itself in order to provide both energy and fluid.
Why should I take SiS GO Energy?
It is well documented that one of the major causes of fatigue in endurance exercise is depletion of our carbohydrate energy stores. As early as the 1960s, sports scientists therefore developed carbohydrate loading strategies whereby athletes increase the amount of carbohydrate they consume in the days leading up to their event in order to increase our store of muscle glycogen. SiS GO Energy therefore provides a highly practical solution to achieve increased carbohydrate intake (and helps complement high carbohydrate food intake) in order to boost our muscle glycogen stores prior to training or racing. SiS GO Energy can also be consumed during exercise to provide a quick supply of energy to ensure additional carbohydrate delivery during exercise. Finally, SiS GO Energy could also be consumed after training or racing in order to help promote recovery of muscle glycogen stores so that you are fuelled and ready for your next hard training session or race.
As part of your carbohydrate loading strategy, consume up to 4 servings per day with or between meals to help complement a high carbohydrate intake from food sources. To further boost muscle glycogen stores prior to exercise, SiS GO Energy could also be consumed with SiS GO Bars. To provide both optimal energy and hydration during exercise, SiS GO Electrolyte is superior to SIS GO Energy.
About Energy & Recovery Drink
Energy drinks are a beverage designed to help athletes rehydrate, as well as replenish electrolytes, carbohydrates, and other nutrients, which can be depleted during and after training or competition.
About the Science in Sport brand
Science in Sport grew out of the desire to provide the best nutritional products and advice to athletes. The Company mixes qualified sport scientists, food technologists, and a physician with keen athletes and sports people who have competed from local level to the world stage. As a result of all this experience they have an unprecedented knowledge of the nutritional needs of athletes. Initially Science in Sport grew in cycling thanks in part to the use and endorsement of the products by Chris Boardman, who liked the Company ethos, and helped to inspire the creation of REGO, total recovery sports fuel. It wasn't long before the word began to spread and Science in Sport's products became more popular at the top level of many other sports. To date Science in Sport have helped to win Olympic Gold's, World Championships, Premiership Titles and set numerous World Records.

Magazine reviews for Science in Sport GO Energy 1.6kg Tub
Review from Cycling Plus
PSP22 fizzes a little when being shaken up but produces a completely flat drink. It's a complex carbohydrate drink made from high specification maltodextrin that's simple to mix and light on taste. We liked the orange best because it sat most comfortably even under hard conditions. It's perfect for long rides as well as for carbo loading before a long ride or race, as you can easily vary the concentration with an SIS measuring bottle. It can be used post ride as well, although SIS also produces good recovery drinks.
High quality, versatile and easy to drink
Review from Bikeradar
PSP22 gets its carbs from maltodextrin, which is particularly easy on the stomach so it shouldn't pose too many problems if your digestion is on the delicate side.
The original flavour contains just the maltodextrin, with no flavours or additives, and a more expensive organic fruit punch version is also available. Sachets provide convenient refills when on the move.
No electrolytes are included but its companion product SIS GO is isotonic. The orange, lemon and blackcurrant flavours all contain the sickly chemical sweetener aspartame.
Tolerable mixed at a lower concentration than recommended - otherwise it becomes nauseating
Product Q & A

Dont really want to buy 2 types of powder plus 80% of my rides are electrolyte tabs only anyhow.
The only other thing to consider is that you'll end up with a rather strong/strange tasking mixture so you might be better off finding a recipe for a tasteless electrolyte mix to combine with the GO or just use the electrolyte version of the product all the time.
