Comes complete with SP41 gear cables, which are lubricated internally along their length with low-friction silicon grease to reduce cable friction.
About Gear Levers & Shifters
Make sure the gear levers you choose are the correct ones for your rear cassette - either 8/9 or 10 speed. Also check that the integrated brake levers (if fitted) are cable or hydraulic to suit your brake calipers. Most SRAM shifters are only compatible with their own derailleurs.

I have a question i hope you can answer; regarding these levers
i know that normally when fitted to a touring bicycle the shifters will usually have the cable approaches the shifter on the outer edge running down the side of the handlebar drop and it is then usually wrapped up in bar tape and therefore hidden from sight.
i'm hoping to use these shifters with some Pro Missile TT aerobars.
Q; can the cable be run down the centre of the shifter (i know they have a hole through the centre wedge tightening bolt) as i want to set-up my bars without tape but mainly so as to have the cable run straight down the inside of the bar into the back end of the shifter. more streamlined aerodynamic and out the way tidy.
