Upper
The WM51 features a tough but supple synthetic leather and mesh upper for snug and breathable comfort out on the trails. Three offset velcro straps provide a secure and easily adjustable fit without pressure points or abrasion. The Shimano Women's specific last ensures the correct fit for lower volume feet.
Sole
A stiff, reinforced polyamide sole with a recessed cleat for easy walking and a rugged tread pattern for traction in all conditions.

MTB Cycling shoes have stiffer soles than an everyday shoe, like a trainer for instance, this means that they transfer more power to the pedals each time you push down.
