Upper: The Polyurethane coated leather upper provides durable protection from the elements with a supple feel for a snug fit. The upper is lined with GORE-TEX membrane and an insulating polar fleece to protect against numbness.

A tall neoprene ankle cover with a water resistant splash guard closes snugly with a Velcro-style strap to help prevent water and mud entering the shoe.

The toes and heels are reinforced with robust armour for protection from rocks, roots and debris.


GORE-TEX® Membrane: GORE-TEX® products use a revolutionary bi-component membrane which is both completely waterproof and completely breathable at the same time.
The membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores which are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapor. So while water in its liquid form cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, as moisture vapor it can easily escape. The patented GORE-TEX® membrane makes garments durably waterproof, windproof and breathable so that you stay dry and comfortable.

Closure: The Three wide Velcro-style straps provide a secure and comfortable fit and are easy to adjust even with gloves on. They can be cut to size for riders with low volume feet.

Sole: The MW81 features a comfortable, cup moulded, EVA foam backed insole coupled with a supportive and durable Texon midsole made from compressed cellulose fibre. The outsole is reinforced with glass fibre for stiffness and efficient power transfer with an aggressive mud-shedding rubber tread pattern for extra traction.
