Dynalast Shoe Technology - creating pedaling efficiency
The toe-spring section of a cycling shoe plays a key role in supporting efficient pedaling. Too high, and it causes increased tension in the plantar, calf, and hamstring muscles. Too low, and you get a bowlegged, inefficient pedaling form.
Extensive research by Shimano's R&D experts has produced a superior shoe last design with an optimised toe-spring section that promotes a smoother, more energy-efficient upstroke. Built based on feedback from pro riders, Shimano Dynalast helps reduce energy loss on long rides, letting you keep more in the tank for that final sprint to the line.
About Road Shoes
Road racing cycling shoes are designed without compromise to provide optimum power transfer between your foot and the pedal, a good quality road cycling shoe is a wise investment for performance and weight saving and is often overlooked. High-tech materials and precision manufacture keep weight down and stiffness up, this means your rotational mass is lower and power transfer is higher, resulting in more forward momentum for your effort.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
It doesn't say which adapter, but I believe this correct one is the Shimano SM-SH40.
I prefer SPD-SL pedals because of their larger base the pressure is less concentrated. Yellow float cleats should come with these pedals which have slightly less power transfer (i've heard) than red but are better for your knees
Very good for the price. You can get lighter, but it depends how much you really need to save a few grams.
You will require a 3 screw road style pedal for this shoe. SPD SL is recommended.
