Classically shaped non series 8 speed Shimano Sti's
The high-grade R500 STI Dual Control are built to the same quality as Shimano's proven 105 levers but have an 8 speed format. This gives you the same smooth shifting as found on the latest systems, but without the extra cost of buying a new cassette, chain and dérailleurs. They use a comfortable anatomically designed lever body with covers that conform to the shape of the hand and help to reduce the onset of fatigue. They are also Flight Deck ready and run with both double and triple systems.
Make sure the gear levers you choose are the correct ones for your rear cassette - either 8/9 or 10 speed. Also check that the integrated brake levers (if fitted) are cable or hydraulic to suit your brake calipers. Most SRAM shifters are only compatible with their own derailleurs.
