- Soft and seamless lining allows use without socks without chafing, and is quick drying
- Rubber protection on the heel prevents damage to the shoes in the transition period
- Insole is ventilated, and has an anti-bacterial treatment to reduce odours
- Large grills and mesh panels combined with a vented sole give great ventilation adding to comfort
- Stiff carbon fibre road sole supports the feet and aids pedalling efficiency, and has a hollow section for additional weight saving

The main difference between a Tri shoe and a road shoe is the number of straps found on the uppers, Tri shoes tend to have one large strap for quick and easy removal during transitions, whereas a road shoe will have three or even four straps. For longer distance events such as half and full Ironmans a road shoe could be a wise choice though.
