SixSixOne Recon XC/Trail Helmet - 2012

The Recon helmet was designed as an all-mountain bike helmet. An in-mold shell design allows for fewer components and weighs in at a featherweight 303 grams, The extended rear coverage create a Moto inspired profile and the quick adjust Detox system secures correct fitment. 18 intake vents give great airflow across the head while the internal channelling keeps the rider cool. With its removable moto inspired visor, and matte finished graphics, the Recon helmet is ready to take the trail by storm.

This helmet meets safety standard: CE 1078, CPSC, and AS/NZS 2063:2008.

In-mold technology
In-mold technology uses the bonding of the shell material (polycarbonate) to the foam (EPS) to form a bond that is stronger allowing a helmet to be constructed with more vents and channelling creating the lightest, most ventilated helmet possible.

Full helmet venting system
The Full Helmet Venting System is designed to give maximum airflow by linking channels and vents to create a vortex of airflow pushing warm air out of the helmet allowing cooler air to keep you cool.

Detox fit system
The Detox fit system is a ratchet mechanism that adjusts to give the rider a customized fit. It can be easily adjusted with one hand on the fly, but it is strong enough to hold its position.
