Surprisingly good, but watch the sizing ...
A good lightweight shoe for runners needing little or no support. The low heel-toe drop required some transitioning for me (coming from K-Swiss Blade Lights) and the unusually arch support meant that the shoe felt very odd at the try-on, but was surprisingly comfortable to run in. The uppers provide absolutely no lateral or heel support but are very lightweight. On the downside, I found the sizing to be a whole UK size too big. I'm consistently a UK6 in K-Swiss, Nike, Saucony, Adidas, Asics etc but needed to return the 6's and re-order a 5 in these. If I were going to wear them sockless (as they are apparently meant to be worn) I'd have gone for a 4.5. It appears that Skechers have got their US-UK size conversions wrong. Other than that, a good shoe for the lightweight neutral midfoot/forefoot striker.

Nice lightweight running shoes that look great.
I was a little apprehensive about buying these shoes at first, but i'm glad that i did. Okay so initially i was'nt too sure about them, my first run was a llittle awkward (i only run 3.5km -4.5km) but its mostly steep hills) i think i just overthought the whole foot strike thing.
But on my second run i found it far better, given that i run mostly up hills i found that it was alot easier to toe strike and gain alot more speed up the hill. All in all i got a much better workout. I was shocked when i first seen the shoe as it looks tiny, however i found that i probably could have gone 1/2 a size down from my normal size (UK 7) The toe box is very roomy, and the inner sole is nice and cushy. Only thing i think you would have a problem with is if you tried running with them anywhere else but the bitumen, you could definately roll an ankle if not on a flat surface.

What is the difference between the aw12 and the newer GoRun2 shoes - the descriptions on the site look the same?

I can confirm that in design these are the same other than the colours as the Autumn Winter 2012 colours have now been discontinued. I hope this helps.2 weeks, 5 days ago
