Fork crown fitting guards that offer more front wheel coverage than the simpler downtube style are getting more popular - but make sure that your fork crown a) has a hole in to take the fitting (some newer ones don't), and b) that it's large enough. Once you've done that, this is a piece of cake to fit, needing only one Allen key and that's supplied. Once set up, a bracket stays in place under the fork and the guide slides easily off and on. There's a bit of movement between the bike/bracket join, but that aside we were surprised by the coverage this gave. A relatively short front wheel guard made a big difference to the mud factor. Our only real gripe is that it's not the prettiest we've seen, but that's probably a refelection of the 'value' price point.

Good entry level combo that's easy to use and gives good coverage
