I only have one set of wheels (road) and therefore need to train AND race on them. Is it possible to deflate these tubes in order to change to my racing tyres/tubes? Or will the goop simply come out the valve?

Answer:
I change my mtb tyres throughout the year depending on conditions. a tiny bit may come out usually if you let the air out all at once. Remember, you can always top it up each year as i do.

Answer:
This should be fine but apparently people sometimes have issues with a blocked valve. To avid this, the manufacturers recommend: "Whenever possible, we recommend rotating the tire so the valve stem is in the 10 or 2 o'clock position. Gravity will help the sealant to flow away from the stem preventing it from blowing up through and out of the valve stem where the fibers and other particles can clog and block the valve and or blow out into your pump or compressor".

You can deflated and re-used them but they are more bulky as you can't get all the air out of them.

Answer:
Yes...you can deflate them. Make sure the valve is at 12 o'clock for a couple of minutes prior and whilst deflating to keep the goop in.

Answer:
Unfortunately deflating the tubes will express alot of the slime so it isn't recommended to swap between these and other tubes

Answer:
It is standard 'short' length. I have fitted them to aero rims without any major issue (just enough peeking through the rim) - but wiggle do also carry a valve extender that works a treat.

Answer:
I bought these specifically for my road bike for the commute to work. I only noticed one difference to the ride itself - not once have I had to stop to fix a puncture! I have recently bought a second pair of tubes though - my first set I had for about 8 months - had a puncture and the "slime" seemed to have degraded so it was almost water and too thin to "set" in the hole - still - 8 months puncture free is a plus in my book
