Puncture Insurance Simple to use and lasts forever... well until you really get a major gash in the tube. If you ride off road and do not want to fall victim of silly punctures or of the trimmed hedges left overs then you have a solution. On a recent 3 day epic it has save my tyres where all my friend suffered constant punctures. I have used it now for over 8 years... only ever used 3 bottles in all this time, so to me it is a very cheap investments (although in the past a bottle used to give you enough to fill 3 inners and now only 2) 03 July 2010

Slime of the Gods! For those who don't know it Slime is the most amazing invention to make cycling easier since round wheels were discovered, Once inserted into tyres it forms a barrier which prevents punctures and seals any that do occur. Amazing. For the price of an inner tube you can remain almost puncture free for years and it really does work. It is a littel bit fiddly to insert into tyres (the valve core of the tyre needs to be removed) and hence it can't be used on Presta tyres, but i recommend this stuff absolutely. And it's so green. 17 November 2009

this slime works great I used it for a baby buggies tire that keeps getting punchers, this is working great, no more punctures, and this buggy goes Evey where, pulled a nail out, and "sealed", great stuff. 12 March 2013

Easy to Use and Works a Treat This was bought as a precaution against future punctures. I found that it was a lot easier to install than I anticipated as everything you need comes with the bottle including the valve removal tool and the pipe to transfer the slime into the inner tube without removing the wheels of your bike. The only draw back as far as I can see is that if you plan to keep the bottle (say you only needed to do one tyre then you'd only need half the bottle) then you will be left with a very messy tube to try to clean up afterwards. Not a deal breaker though. No punctures yet and I've been down some fairly dubious routes with my bike since installing the slime. 04 May 2011

What is an american valve, what is an english valve? It will work with presta the standard on all road tubs and tubes.

It's an American product made in the USA so I would be surprised if you can't use it on a USA valve. It is for the Schroder valve exactly the same as found on car tyres.

Yes.This sealant, as with most sealants, works best with removable valve cores as sometimes the valve gets clogged by the sealant which then requires you to remove the valve core to unblock it. If you use a sealant with the french valve and it becomes clogged there is no way to unclog it and you have to discard the tube.

Yes, but it will not reach the 120psi, expect something nearer 70-80 but you can always inflate to the correct pressure when you get home.

Yes, but it probably won't be able to keep the tyres at full pressure. It should be high enough to get you home with MTB tyres (wouldn't try in with thinner road bike tyres though).

can I use it in tubular tyres

I have removable valve cores so will be able to apply into them. I'm using tufo tyres. I've used slime for many years and wondered if it mattered whether I used a non tufo sealent.

It does not make any difference what make of tyre you are using, most tubs have latex tube and this will work fine with them. I have a tufo on my rear and use a bontrager sealant on that and it works great - lighter than slime.

I can confirm that as you need to open the valve to pump it us the sealant will be pushed out and will block the valve and the pump. Slime to a road inner tube but there is not an option to add it to an inner tube. I hope this helps.
