I own a number of 7 LED smart rear lights and was wondering if the Lunar R2 can fit into the same brackets. If not can I buy a spare bracket from wiggle?

I only ask because the last two Smart Lights (the R1 and the 0.5W) I've had really don't like water and wet rides.
And one of them is on a bike fitted with full mudguards. .

R 2's are waterproof they will survive a wet ride and even a wash with a power washer as mine have

Answer:
I've found that water can seep into these units which render the switch useless until it's dried out fully (i.e. having to remove the batteries to turn it off).
A quick fix is to wrap a length of electrical tape around the seam. it's worked for me!

Answer:
you gain access to the battery compartment by separating the red portion to the black base. I noticed there weren't rubber seals or 'O' rings. Instead, the water is prevented from the overlap of one part to the other. So its certainly not going to like being submerged. The rubberized button doesn't look leak proof either, so I would advise to mount it upside down, ie, rubber button facing bottom. One way is to use plumber's tape and tape the sides, that ought to make it a little more water resistant.

My current rear light (Mars 4.0) is great except on very bumpy rides the dang thing can't cope - it switches off.
Anyone tried this on bumpier rides?

Can this light be mounted horizontally, similar to the Cateye TL-LD1100? I have limited space on seat-post due to saddle bag.

The supplied fitting does not allow this. If you can fix to a horizontal post then yes it will. Or seek out an adapter?
The lamp itself has a clip so could be clipped over a belt.

Answer:
Hi,
No it isn't easy to mount this to a helmet. The mounts provided are
1. a clamp to go around a seatpost
2. a clamp to go arount a smaller tube such as a seat stay or rack tube
3. a clip that attaches the light to a loop on a bag or belt

I read the blurb and failed to find out whether this light is compliant with the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations, as amended. Without the appropriate test equipment it's impossible to be certain.
It should say on the carton.

Answer:
That isn't an answer. The answer to my very reasonable and entirely predictable question, is either: a)'Yes, it is RVLR compliant' or b) 'no, it isn't'.
Your response qualifies only as a non-answer, being neither: a) nor b) and essentially leaving me no better-informed.
I will have to assume that it isn't, which is disappointing.
I strongly suggest that Wiggle leans on the supplier to elicit a response.
